PROUNI 2018

PROUNI or Universidade Para Todos Program is a program that was created by the Ministry of Education or MEC where its main objective is to offer full or partial scholarships in various higher education courses at private institutions.

Requirements to participate in PROUNI 2018

If you want to take a course in Higher Education, but are unable to pay the monthly fees charged, you can take the registration in PROUNI 2018 and try one of the scholarships offered by the program.

But before registering, check all the mandatory requirements required by the government:

Candidates must have attended high school at a public school or;
Candidates must have attended high school at a private school, but as full scholarship holders or;
Candidates must have attended half of high school in a private school and half in a public school or;
Candidates must have some type of disability or;
Candidates must be tenured public basic education teachers. In these cases, candidates must only apply for undergraduate courses.

Types of scholarships offered by PROUNI 2018

Scholarships offered by PROUNI 2018 They may be full or partial, for each of them it is necessary to fulfill the requirements required by the program.

Full: This option offers the course fully to the student, with no fee charged. To apply, you must belong to a family that has a per capita income of up to 1 and a half minimum wages;
Partial: This scholarship option offers a discount of 50% on monthly fees and any student who belongs to a family whose per capita income is up to 3 minimum wages can apply.

What is the PROUNI 2018 selection process like?

Candidates who want to participate in the selection process PROUNI 2018 You need to know that it is made up of two phases, below we explain how they work, check it out:

Regular process: In this first process, all candidates who meet the requirements and who have taken the ENEM or National Secondary Education Examination and obtained a score of at least 450 points and not zero in the essay can register;
Process for filling the remaining scholarships: Current public school teachers who have taken the ENEM, obtained a score above 450 points and have not scored zero in the essay.
